Tata Nano booking procedure announced!

As  we know Tata Motors has commercially launched its people’s car, Nano, promising to stick to the Rs 1,00,000 price tag for the base model. Now they declared  Their Booking procedure.

Tata Motors has planned for an immense logistical exercise to cope with the anticipated booking demand for the Nano. Bookings begin from April 9 and deliveries from July 2009. Read on for complete details!

Tata Motors has announced the booking procedure for its people’s car, the Tata Nano. The first phase of the booking procedure for the car will begin from April 9, during which forms will be sold for Rs 300 each through over 30,000 locations across the country. These will include Tata dealerships, outlets of other Tata ventures like Westside, Croma, Tata Indicom etc. The forms will also come with vouchers worth Rs 1100 which can be used at these outlets.

Booking amount to be paid with the application form will be Rs 2,999. The forms will be accepted at 850 offices of SBI, 222 World of Titan outlets, 900 Tata Indicom outlets and 37 outlets of Westside across the country. The last date for acceptance of forms in the first phase is April 25, when one-lakh forms will be selected randomly from the ones received for delivery. Delivery of spanking new Nanos will begin from July 2009.

Tata Motors has also announced a price protection feature for prospective customers who have deposited the booking amount with the company but have not figured in the one-lakh customers selected for delivery. These customers will receive an interest of 8.5 percent p.a on their deposit until they receive delivery of the car, should they choose to not cancel their booking. If they do, the booking amount will be returned.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said : We will judge you by your actions not your words. He (Obama) insulted the Islamic Republic of Iran from the first day. If you are right that change has come, where is that change? What is the sign of that change? Make it clear for us what has changed?

Khamenei asked how Obama could congratulate Iranians on the new year and accuse the country of supporting terrorism and seeking nuclear weapons in the same message.

Ayatullah Khamenei asked Obama “Have you releasedIranian assets? Have you lifted oppressive sanctions? Have you given up mudslinging and making accusations against the great Iranian nation and its officials?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said Iran would welcome talks with the U.S. _ but only if there was mutual respect. Iranian officials have said that means the U.S. needs to stop accusing Iran of seeking to build nuclear weapons and supporting terrorism, charges Tehran has denied.
On Friday, an Ahmadinejad adviser played down Obama’s video, saying “minor changes will not end the differences” between Tehran and Washington.

Ayatullah Khamenai said “They say we have stretched a hand toward Iran. … If a hand is stretched covered with a velvet glove but it is cast iron inside, that makes no sense,”.
